Contests

I used to think most contests were scams, but over the past year I've learned that you really can win!!! I've won many things from a free hairct ($60 value) to blurays to free movie tickets.  The best way to win is to enter!

One site I truly love to win movie tickets and blurays, dvds, etc is the filmyap.  Check this site out!!! You can read great reviews, and right now you can enter to try to win the new movie A-Team on bluray or dvd!!! They also have the show your yap contest at times.  Just for buying a t-shirt, at a mere $15, right now you can pick a dvd from their movie vault!! By purchasing your tshirt, you can enter contests to win blurays like Glee season 1  like I did!!!  So check this site out!!!  http://www.thefilmyap.com/

Great deals for this week

I know of  2 great deals to buy the movie Toy Story 3 that was released on dvd Tuesday.  The first is at CVS.
In their ad, they have a deal on their front page that if you spend $25 on Proctor and Gamble products, buy Toy Story 3 on dvd for $3.99!!!  I bought mine from the 96th and  Allisonville Road location in Indianapolis, Indiana which is my favorite location!  Their is also an $8 coupon from Disney on their rewards site off  the Bluray dvd combo pack. At Target it's only $24.99 so after the $8 coupon, your final price is $16.99!!
Target also has some other great movie deals such as buy 2 dvd bluray combo packs for $16.99 each, and get a $5 gift card.  Some of these movie titles include Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Marmaduke, and Percy Jackson and the Olympian Lightning Thief.  They would make great Christmas  presents so check it out today. My favorite Target store is located in Fishers, Indiana. They also offer rainchecks in case they run out.  Target will even give out rainchecks on the day after Thanksgiving day sale!!!!!

Great deals for the week of 12/12-12/18

Looking for great stocking stuffers?  What about silly bands?  Check out Walgreens this week at 62nd and Keystone Ave in Indianapolis, IN where all of their silly bands are only $.99!!!!

Free movies

In this economy, who doesn't love getting things for free?  I don't know about you, but I especially love free movies!!! I recently learned how to see movies before they come out, and for free!  One great website is www.gofobo.com.  They have many screenings each month depending on where you live, especially in big cities. Start your own free account today!  I live in the Indianapolis area and I love the website www.indymojo.com as well.  They constantly have free screenings in the Indianapolis area.  This website is a social network.  It's a way to meet people, and enjoy places in the city.  Another site for Indianapolis is the filmyap.com.  They constantly have contests for free screenings and dvds.  In fact, I just received a free bluray of the movie Killers for buying their filmyap t-shirt for a mere $15!  Another website is www.filmmetro.com, and advancedscreenings.com.

Beside watching movies for free, there are plenty of theaters close by where I live that offer special prices in the Indianapolis area.  The Regal theater on 96th st offers twilight pricing from 4-6 pm daily for $5.50 a ticket.  On Tuesdays they offer Regal card holders $5 movies, and a small popcorn for a $1.  They also offer a military discount of $6 a ticket. Their Regal card lets you earn free popcorn, drinks, and movie tickets.  For more info, check out www.regal.com.

The IMAX in Noblesville offers twilight pricing from 4-6 daily at $5.75 a ticket.  They also have a frequent customer card that gives you discounted pricing of popcorn and a drink.  It will also allow you to see movies at the twilight price if they have been out for a certain length of time, and you can earn free popcorn and drinks with it too. This theater also offers free family films during the fall and spring on Saturday and Sunday. I love how every size drink refill is free, but I wish it was Coke instead of  Pepsi.  For more information about this theater check out their website at www.gqti.com.

AMC theaters now offer $5 movies M-Th, and before noon on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.  Their movie watcher card will give you a coupon each week for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays that gives you a free small popcorn with any drink purchase. On Wednesdays, card holders will get a free small popcorn with a ticket purchase. The movie watcher card also allows you to earn free popcorn, drinks, and movie tickets.  For more information check out wwww.amc.com.

I wanted to share more information I received for specials from AMC theatres, during the holidays. They have different specials where you can earn free AMC gift cards. Hope you all enjoy!
